Penny's advice about pitching a novel based on its subject struck me as really useful. IIRC, she talked about a woman who wrote a novel about a child abuse survivor, and spoke at a recovery group for child abuse survivors.
Then I saw this perfect example.
I applaud the author's chutzpah in talking about using the Internet for research as though it was something original he thunk up.
